Commercial Audio System

A dental practice should not just be the sounds of the occasional shrill from a drill and polishing tool.

Televisions are great but can also contribute to a cacophony of out of synch voiceovers and crosstalk as their number and use increases throughout an office. A commercial audio system is the answer to this. More stable, safer and less expensive to install then traditional home grade stereo components, these systems can be implemented and enjoyed without a degree in electrical engineering and provide all of the atmospheric ambience or entertainment you desire.
Traditional audio systems are wiring heavy, short range, severely limited in the number of speakers you can safely drive and can be insanely expensive when you start talking about systems like Sonos and their branded speakers and accessories. You can grasp the features and streaming quality of systems like Sonos and deploy it far and wide with crisp high quality audio throughout your entire practice with volume controls in every room if you so choose and with less than half the wiring.
Then again maybe you can’t run any wires at all, in that case you need a Dental IT provider who can recognize where, why and how speakers need to be placed to keep down cost and increase the range the sound can be enjoyed from while not having to run around changing batteries and charging wireless speakers all day long. Audio systems aren’t easy to install either.

If you’re not just piling up a bunch of wifi hogging wireless speakers that all have to synch up to each other and have a conniption every time the wifi waivers then you’re going to be running wires and installing speakers in your walls and ceilings. What gauge wire do you need before you get out of fire hazard territory? How many speakers can you run off a single cable? Series or parallel? Can my volume controls support more than one speaker? Is my amplifier strong enough? Do I need a speaker select? The considerations just go on and on. You need a Dental IT provider who already knows the answers to these questions.
Dental HiTech has experience with engineering audio solutions for practices that need both types of solutions, wired and wireless. If speed and convenience is what you’re after above all then yeah we can leverage those big brand systems like Sonos and their wireless speakers for your benefit.
However, maybe you’re more concerned with efficiency and appearances, in that case we can architect an entire custom audio solution that leverages a single streaming device like a sonos port or amazon echo link to drive a solution that won’t cost you an absolute arm and a leg like if you went with a system based entirely on Sonos or other big name commercial audio systems. If you’re questioning the quality of systems other than those big name brands, you really only need to take a step back and ask yourself, “do my patients want to have their dental health improved in a night club?” because that’s the only time those big names really shine. Dental HiTech gets you what you need not just what sells for top dollar.
